My interpretation of the song "Flying Teapot" by Yoko Kanno.
I'm not stoked on the way this turned out, but I had a deadline tonight to finish it, so here we are. This is for the epic All-Girl Thunderdome on Concept Art.org [link] I reckon the voting is starting soon but man, there's no way this made the top 10 like I had hoped. Gah.
Just the same, I feel like it's halfway to being something nice and it's been ages since I've uploaded something. Helpful crits are encouraged so I can make this something that I'm really proud of
XD I still cant think of anything to really critique about it. As far as I can see it's stupendous ;d I love the effects and soft lighting you added in since I saw it ;x The recycled paper look is a nice touch. Good luck on the thing! ;D
I don't know, it looks great to me. I like the simplicity, and the teapot hot air balloons are lovely. Where did you want to go with it? Do you want it to be more grungy, textured, realistic? Did you want some sort of environment going on at the bottom?
Yeah, it may not have made the top 10, but dayum!!! It still rocks!!! Its simplistic and it kicks ass! The vector work is great. Like I said before, the composition just ROCKS! I love teh swirls too I like that you added more of it in the back too.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. The faded swirls looks great and the composition changes since I last saw it are a great improvement...
....that purple color still feels out of place for me.
*goes to vote for you*
